Arcana was an exhibition of work inspired by and reinterpreting the traditional tarot deck curated by The Exhibitionist in April 2017. Using Kickstarter we raised enough money to cover the costs of gallery hire, promotion and installation.

Whether we believe in tarot as a divination tool or not, it speaks to universal themes and archetypes, and channels our human desires for clarity and knowledge. The tarot cards can help us think through our situations and desires, opening out the subconscious.
They are a tool we use to tell ourselves stories, and to unravel those around us: the Major Arcana in particular represent life events, characters and experiences that we all encounter.

In turbulent times, these artists are all looking to the arcane for clarity.

Arcana took place at The Crypt Gallery, Euston Road, London, NW1 2BA
